In Fair Light exists to make the work that's worth making.
Work that earns the audience's attention because someone actually thought about who that audience was, what they needed to hear, and what the right form for the message was.
Discovery
Every project starts with the same questions. Who is this for, and what do they actually need to hear?
ITERATION
Forty concept boards before we pick three. Three boards built out before we commit to one.
Edit
The work nobody asks about. The color grade, the audio mix, the kerning, the take that finally lands.
ship
When the work ships, it ships with context. The project doesn't end with a Dropbox link and silence.

The vision behind the lens
In Fair Light is run by Alexandre Chaput.
I started the studio in late 2025 after twenty years of making things for other people. My journey started at Algonquin College and the University of Ottawa. Then, the early jobs that led to Casa Productions in Ottawa in 2011. Mills Entertainment, a CAA company in Los Angeles, for seven years. Tablz, as Creative Director, until late 2024. The studio is what came next.
Bilingual (EN / FR). Twenty years of getting things wrong (and sometimes right). Still making things.
