Philosophy
Why this studio?
Work that earns attention, because someone thought about who it's for and what they need to hear.
The form comes after that: a film, a brand system or an AI system, whichever carries the message.
Approach

The tools change. The order doesn't.
Discovery
Every project starts with the same questions. Who is this for, and what do they need to hear?
Iteration
Forty concepts in an hour. Picking takes the afternoon.
Edit
The work nobody asks about. The color grade, the audio mix, the kerning, the take that finally lands.
Ship
When the work ships, it ships with context. The project doesn't end with a Dropbox link and silence.
Founder
The person behind the lens.
In Fair Light is run by Alexandre Chaput.
He started the studio in December 2025. He studied at Algonquin College and the University of Ottawa, then worked the early jobs that led to Casa Productions in Ottawa in 2011. Six years at Mills Entertainment, a CAA company in Los Angeles. Tablz, as Creative Director, until late 2024. The studio is what came next.
Bilingual (EN / FR). Twenty years of getting things wrong (and sometimes right). Still making things.
